Sojitz (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., (Head Office: Shanghai, China; Representative Director: Yasushi Nishimura), a local subsidiary of Sojitz Corporation (“Sojitz”) in the People’s Republic of China (“China”), has established a new office in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.

Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, is a dynamic economic hub that is home to numerous leading private enterprises. The area comprising Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province, and the city of Shanghai—known as the Yangtze River Delta Region—forms one of China’s most prosperous economic zones. Sojitz Group has excellent relations with many partner companies in this zone whose business operations cover the domains of chemicals as well as machinery, including automobiles.

Through the Hangzhou office, Sojitz Group will pursue collaborations with these partners to develop new business and create new value.
