Establishment of New Company by Sojitz Pla-Net and Pla Matels

Sojitz Corporation (“Sojitz”) has announced a decision that Sojitz Pla-Net Corporation (“Sojitz Pla-Net”), a fully owned subsidiary of Sojitz, plans to integrate business operations with its fully owned subsidiary, Pla Matels Corporation (“Pla Matels”). A new company is expected to be established on April 1, 2027.

Through the establishment of this new company, Sojitz aims to improve business efficiency, strengthen governance, and realize synergy across Sojitz Group’s plastics businesses. The business integration process will proceed in phases for both Sojitz Pla-Net and Pla Matels’ domestic and overseas business sites and offices.
