McGREGOR Forms Collaboration with BEAMS
Release of new 'BUDGE DRAGON' collection

Apparel brand 'McGREGOR, for which brand development is undertaken by Nichimen Infinity Inc. (Head office: Minoo City, Osaka; President: Kentaro Yoshiura; wholly owned by Sojitz), a Sojitz group company, will launch a new collection McGREGOR 'BUDGE DRAGON', with joint planning with BEAMS COMPANY (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo: Executive Producer: Yo Shitara). The sale of 'BUDGE DRAGON' items will commence from February 1, 2008, at BEAMS PLUS SHIBUYA and at major BEAMS stores nationwide. Nichimen Infinity aims to achieve sales of 500 million yen in 2010.
The 'McGREGOR' brand started manufacture and sale of sportswear in the US in 1921, under the theme of the 'undying American spirit'. The brand, which epitomizes the sporting spirit, has gained popularity through the years. In the 1960s, lifestyles became more casual as a reflection of reduced working hours, which in turn lead to explosive revolutions in the field of sportswear. Moving with the times, McGREGOR established a status as the top manufacturer of sportswear. In its prime, McGREGOR was at the forefront of the trends of the time and led the era, releasing one product after another with exceptional attributes in such things as materials and functions.
The new McGREGOR 'BUDGE DRAGON' collection will be based on the good old American casual style of the 1960s, and contemporary accommodations will be added in partnership with BEAMS. The collection will pursue functionality, wear comfort, and the feeling of the materials used, and will be born as sophisticated casual wear. Vintage clothing and American casual wear, illustrations of which appeared in 1960s McGREGOR advertisements, will make a new appearance in a contemporary way. The McGREGOR 'BUDGE DRAGON' collection will be a remake of the basic style, to which fashionable slender silhouette style features, functionalities and materials have been added.
