Sojitz Corporation, jointly with its 100% subsidiary Sojitz Corporation of America, will donate 50,000 US dollars towards the relief and recovery efforts for the areas of the East Coast of the United States and in the Caribbean struck by Hurricane Sandy. Local recovery will also be supported by collecting funds from Sojitz Corporation of America employees with matching funds provided by the company.
