TOKYO(November 6, 2002)--From December 2002, NITEC Corporation (hereafter called NITEC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nissho Iwai Corporation, will commence domestic sales of adapters, which interact with over 200 information systems, for "Microsoft® BizTalk® Server 2002 " (hereafter called BizTalk), an application used for Enterprise Application Integration (hereafter called EAI) and so on. The new product, to be connected to BizTalk, called "iWay Adapter for BizTalk Server" (hereafter called iWay adapter), is manufactured by Information Builders Inc. (hereafter called IBI), the largest company in the industry.

At present, companies around the world are actively promoting system reconstruction, so that decentralized internal systems can be integrated efficiently. In order to realize EAI promptly and easily, adapters that can cope with a large number of required applications and database are said to be indispensable. Until now, much of the required EAI construction work has been developed manually. However, by utilizing the unprecedented iWay adapter, which can interact with over 200 BizTalk applications and database, the real-time integration of diversified range of internal systems will become possible to construct in an easy manner.

In the future, NITEC will also undertake EAI construction/introduction support, and aims to sell the iWay adapter for Microsoft BizTalk, which is in widespread global use owing to its prominent functions, on the scale of 400 to 500 million yen.
