Dec. 19, 2007

Sojitz group company Sojitz General Merchandise Corporation (Sojitz GMC; Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Tsutsui; wholly owned by Sojitz Corporation), which undertakes the sale of consumer goods, commenced sales from December of the 'TITAN Xenon 4 wheel suitcase with TSA-approved lock model'. The suitcase, which is manufactured by German company Thomas Wagner GmbH, will be sold through specialty bag shops and household goods stores across the country.

The 'TITAN X2' has a body made from 100% polycarbonate, which is ultra-light and ultra-impact resistant. In Japan, 2-wheel type suitcases became available in 2005, and have gained an extremely favorable reputation. The model of suitcase that has just become available is a 4-wheel type, which is popular in the Japanese market, and is equipped with a TSA-approved lock. Thomas Wagner GmbH newly developed a 50mm diameter silent wheel so as to achieve excellent maneuverability, which characterize the TITAN Xenon, resulting in a suitcase that is simultaneously light and mobile, even though it is a 4 wheel model.

The 'TITAN Xenon 4 wheel suitcase with TSA-approved lock model' is available in two sizes and three colors; medium and large in silver, black and red. More sizes and colors are planned to be made available in future.
